Panmure Festival Studios are situated in the Holyrood area of central Edinburgh at the foot of the Royal Mile, on Carlton Road, very close to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. It's a great festival location, just 10 mins walk up to all the action on The Royal Mile, 15  mins walk from Grassmarket and 15-20 mins to The Pleasance, Bristo Square and other Southside venues.

A purpose built residential development of studio apartments, these are perfect for single persons or couples visiting Edinburgh over the festival in August. Each studio apartment (Classic or Superior) can sleep 1 or 2 persons provides clean and comfortable accommodation with a double bed (or smaller double bed) , en-suite bathroom (shower, washbasin and WC) and a small kitchenette (with fridge, cooker / microwave). There is a chair and desk, couch, wardrobe, drawers, iron / ironing board and each room has a flatscreen TV.

Linen and towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis for longer stay guests at which time the room is also cleaned. All rooms have secure key fob access. There is free Wi-fi (20mb speed) and guests also have use of the common room, bike storage and on site laundry / washing facilities (for a small charge). The Holyrood area has a Tesco Express for convenient food shopping and there are many great cafes, sandwich shops nearby. 'Holyrood Park' is the jewel in the crown when it comes to escaping the heat of the festival for a few hours with climbing to the top of 'Arthurs Seat' being your fitness goal for the day!

Classic Studio – 22m2 with a small double bed (i.e. 4 ft width)
Weekly – from £770 (from £500 pw in July)
Month – £2200

Superior Studio – 25m2 (slightly bigger than Classic Studios and incorporating full size double beds and washing machine / dryer).
Weekly – from £820 (from £580 pw in July)
Month – £2350

Old Town Edinburgh and Royal Mile

The Old Town area of the City is 'prime location' for the Edinburgh Fringe and summer festivals. The Royal Mile links Holyrood Palace up to Edinburgh Castle and every August the Royal Mile pulsates to the sounds and sights of Festival Fringe performers who line the street to showcase their talents. It's a great location for pubs and restaurants and there are also plenty of local amenities and convenience stores. The Edinburgh Fringe Office is located on the Royal Mile and there are some great venues close by such as Assembly on The Mound, Underbelly in Bristo Square / George Square and The 'Free Fringe' at various nooks and pubs along the Royal Mile. The Pleasance Courtyard, Bristo Square and George Square are only 10-15 mins walk from anywhere in the Old Town. It's well connected too, with excellent transport links in/out of the City, i.e. close to Waverley Railway Station, the Airport Bus and Airport Tram. In summary, the Old Town is Fringe central and the heartbeat of all the buzz and action of the Edinburgh Festivals and is, of course, where you will find Edinburgh Castle.
