LIMITED DATES AVAILABLE Sleeps 1 to 2 persons. A selection of both en-suite and non ensuite rooms (with shared living / kitchen area) in a modern and well located development just off the Meadows (Old Town Edinburgh. Location within a short walk of the major festival venues (i.e. Underbelly in Bristo Square, Summerhall  and close to C Venues (Chambers Street) and Pleasance (also at Bristo Square).

Each room is approx. 13m2 in size with a small double bed (i.e. 4ft width) either with an en-suite shower room or sharing a ‘family bathroom’ with another 1 other bedroom. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and utensils, vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket) combined with seating area / coffee table. You will share this with either 3 or 4 other rooms.

The accommodation is cleaned weekly with bedding and towels also changed on a weekly basis for longer stay guests. The building also benefits from a landscaped garden to the rear, secure key card access / 24 hr CCTV, a common room and coin operated laundry facilities. Free wi-fi access completes the package.

In terms of location, Chalmers Street is a great festival location, situated just off The Meadows (a lovely ‘greenspace’ in Edinburgh), but only a short walk from local conveniences like (Sainsbury’s Local, Starbucks and Peter’s Yard coffee bars at Quartermile). The Grassmarket is a short ‘hop, skip and jump’ away and only 10 minutes walk is The Royal Mile / Castle which form the central hub of festival activity.

The Grassmarket Area is the heartbeat and hub of Edinburgh's Old Town with many good restaurants, pubs, cafes and independent shops to enjoy (check out Victoria Street). Heading slightly west you hit the crossroads of Tollcross at the top of Lothian Road. The Kings Theatre is the most well known entertainment spot in the area, but there's a vibrant mix of Edinburgh residents, local shopping, pubs, cafes and restaurants and you're always within walking distance to anywhere in central Edinburgh.
